Die Grande Dame des Bossa Nova Paula Morelenbaum wird seit vielen Jahren als große, brasilianische Bossa-Nova – Instanz geschätzt. Sie feierte als Vokalistin in der Formation von Antonio Carlos Jobim Erfolge und ist einer größeren Öffentlichkeit unter anderem durch ihr wunderbares Projekt „Casa“ mit dem japanischen Pianisten Ryuichi Sakamoto und ihren Ehemann, den Cellisten  Jacques Morelenbaum in Erinnerung. FÜR SKIP nahm sie in unterschiedlichen Besetzungen vom Trio bis zur Bigband auf. 

The Grand Dame of Bossa Nova , vocalist Paula Morelenbaum For years now has been highly esteemed as one of the grand authorities on Brazilian bossa nova. Her successful career includes appearances and recording with a formation led by the legendary Antonio Carlos Jobim, and a broader listening public still remembers her well due to “Casa”, her fantastic project together with Japanese pianist Ryuichi Sakamoto and her husband, cellist  Jacques Morelenbaum. For SKIP she recorded a wide range of set ups from trio to bigband.
