Wolfgang Schlüter : Four Colours

Wolfgang Schlüter : Four Colours"Four Colours" is the live recording of a concert at the Hamburg Jazzfestival on October 5th, 2007.  The quartet, whose ages transcended generations, played ist way effortlessly through the highlights of Jazz hsitory from Ray Noble's "Cherokee" to "Reunion Blues" by Milt Jackson. The grand master on the vibes had chosen 3 musicians from the generation of the 30-somethings at his side. Boris Netsvetaev, a native of St. Petersburg on piano, Philip Steen on the double bass and drummer Kai Bussenius .  Together the 4 of them strode through the compositional space reserved for seductively solid sound, spark-apitting surges and liquid lines set to the counterpoint.  Lucky, that the recording machines were rolling on this memorable evening.
