 Alert observers will already be acquainted with guitarist Robert Wolf as a member of the group QUADRO NUEVO, where his style steeped in flamenco instills a markedly Mediterranean note. An event that can't help but linger on in a musical career, the time he spent with Paco De Lucia remains one of Wolf's major influences.
Today residing on the shores of the Bavarian lake Chiemsee, he has meanwhile also integrated a wealth of jazz-inspired sounds into his playing. Following a first release with the band Acoustic Friends, up to 150 live concerts a year with Quadro Nuevo brought a postponement in making his own broad musical statement.
Sparkling with prominent guests, his solo album "Together" now lays down the cornerstone for reinforced live activities with the band.
